Cunnamulla is located at the crossroads of the Matilda and Adventure Highways. It forms part of the Natural Sciences Loop, a route that highlights the natural attractions of the area. Cunnamulla is also the start of Opal Byway via Quilpie to Longreach. This is a fully sealed drive, a great way to explore the magnificent Channel Country region at a more relaxed pace.
Most mobile services are available in Cunnamulla but this may not be the case in all the outback towns you visit.
