Coolangatta is the site of the first European settlement on the South Coast of New South Wales, settled in 1822 by Alexander Berry. The restored convict-built village is today a fully integrated, unique and historic wine tourism complex featuring wine, regional food and 2.5- star accommodation in a spectacular coastal setting.
