HONEYMOON BAY CAMPING
Camping is ONLY available Friday and Saturday nights, NSW School Holidays and long weekends when Defence activities permit public access.
When available, weekends, School Holidays, Long weekends are released 2 weeks prior on Friday at approximately 9am.
(Key booking dates are advertised below).
The Exception being - Summer (Christmas) School Holidays which will be released Friday 19th September 2025 at approximately 9am.
The Beecroft Weapons Range Visitor centre / Ranger Station is open for check-in/pay/pass collection - Each Day 1200pm - 6pm.
All campers are required to check - in at the BWR Visitor Centre prior to 6pm before proceeding to the campground. Entry after 6pm will not be permitted.
Confirmation and Pre-check in emails are sent when a successful booking has occurred (Check junk / spam folders).

The Beecroft Weapons Range and Peninsula is open to the public when conditions allow.
The Range and Peninsula are part of the northern headland of Jervis Bay, located on the New South Wales (NSW) South Coast.
The area has been used for Defence training activities since the 1800s. It is included on the Commonwealth Heritage List and is protected by legislation under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
Induction
All visitors to the area must read the Beecroft induction brochure, which outlines the safety hazards and risks as well as the relevant rules and regulations.
A hard copy of the brochure will be provided at the entrance gate, visitors will be provided with a hard copy induction brochure. A soft copy can be downloaded here.

Hazards and risks
The area contains a number of hazards and risks that visitors must be aware of, including:
Unexploded ordnance (UXO), i.e. live ammunition which has not detonated after being fired.
Natural environmental hazards, including cliffs more than 75 metres high.
Unpatrolled beaches where there may be dangerous conditions including rips, undertows and heavy seas.
Exposure to the natural elements, particularly high seas and coastal winds.
Fire Danger Rating (FDR) of Extreme will result in restrictions and Catastrophic days Beecroft Range will be evacuated.
Dangerous species of venomous snakes, venomous spiders and marine animals are also present.
